COME
TO ME!
I LOVE
YOU!
All that the Father giveth me shall
come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. (John
6:37) Jesus
Come unto me, all ye that labor
and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28)
If You are not sure about your relationship with Jesus,
Consider this:
There will come a time when you
must stand before your Creator in judgment.
This will be required of
Everyone - sooner or later.
And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from
whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was
found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great,
stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book
was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged
out of those things which were written in the books, according
to their works. (Revelation 20:11-12)
What will you say when asked Why
should you be permitted to enter God's Kingdom?
You can depend upon all the GOOD
DEEDS you did in your life - and Hope that they
Outnumber all the BAD DEEDS!
But the Truth is -THAT WON'T WORK!
And God's justice demands that YOU
pay the penalty for sin - Eternal Punishment,
Hell, the Lake of Fire!
The Bible says THIS about the VERY
BEST THINGS WE HAVE EVER DONE.
(
You know, the things you wished everybody knew about you!)
But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses
are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities,
like the wind, have taken us away. (Isaiah 64:6)
FILTHY RAGS?
(But you were counting on those good works -
weren't you!)
IF NOT BY GOOD DEEDS -
THEN HOW CAN ANYONE ENTER
THE
KINGDOM OF GOD?
There is only ONE WAY!
And it is a FREELY GIVEN GIFT!
Here is How You
can Receive God's Gift of Eternal Life:
Recognize: that you need a
Savior from your sin. (Romans 6:23)
"...
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life
through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Recognize: that there is
only ONE person qualified to save you.
(Acts 4:12)
"Neither is there
salvation in any other: for there is none other name
under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."
Recognize: that
it is the will of God for you to be saved. (1 Tim. 2:3-5)
"For this
is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the
truth.
For there
is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man
Christ Jesus;"
Recognize: that
Christ died for you personally, and that His only
motivation was LOVE. (John
3:16, Romans 5:8)
"For God so
loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
"But God commendeth
his love toward us, in that, while we were
yet sinners, Christ died for us."
Recognize: that there
is NO OTHER WAY to be saved except through
the Blood of Jesus.
(John 14:6, Romans 5:9-10)
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the
way, the truth, and the life:
no man
cometh unto the Father, but by me."
"Much more then, being
now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath
through him.
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the
death of his
Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life."
Salvation is a Free Gift of God
-
You cannot EARN it -
and You will Never DESERVE
it.
It is FREE for the asking
But it will require a Total Life Commitment!
Commitment
to Christ Jesus means
we yield, entrust, turn-over,
abandon, and unconditionally surrender our lives to Him.
Receiving
the Atonement provided for us
in the death and resurrection of Jesus is
VERY SERIOUS!
It must
never be done without counting the cost!
|
At this very moment,
if you have not yet committed your life to Him, your eternal
welfare is hanging in the balance.
The Bible tells us there is a great URGENCY in accepting Jesus as Savior
and Lord.
"We then, as workers together
with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the
grace of God in vain. (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted,
and in
the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted
time;
behold, now is the day of salvation." (2 Corinthians 6:1-2)
HOW DO I MAKE THE COMMITMENT TO JESUS?
HOW DO I ..."yield, entrust, turn-over, abandon,
and
unconditionally surrender My life to Him ?
