Gets Castration Sentence
A gay convicted of having sex with a 9-year-old boy was ordered Thursday
to undergo chemical castration, the first time a judge in Collier County
has used an obscure part of state law that also allows for physical castration.
After sentencing Shannon Robinson, 23, to two life prison terms, Collier
Circuit Judge Fred Hardt ordered him to be treated for the rest of his
life with medoxyprogesterone acetate, a chemical that causes what is known
as chemical castration. It effectively reduces the sex drive and can prevent
erections. Robinson was convicted Nov. 22. In addition to the two life
sentences he received for two counts of capital sexual battery, he also
was sentenced to 30 years in prison on one count of lewd or lascivious
molestation.

homeless shelter, he went willingly, leaning heavily on a cane, when officers
came to get him last week.
Even with a meek persona, investigators said, Dominique bound
and strangled or smothered 23 men and teenage boys in south Louisiana in
what the FBI considered its most urgent serial killing case.
Dominique apparently was able to charm his victims into accompanying
him, said Les Bonano, director of investigations for the state attorney
general's office.
"He'd meet them on the street, walking or riding their bikes,
and just start talking to them. He'd offer them a ride or talk them into
sex and they'd go with him," Bonano said Tuesday.

baseball team, according to a court document. The boy discovered Fiscus
was a registered sex offender while searching for his own father, who is
also a sex offender, on the Utah registry. Shortly after that, the boy
and Fiscus began a relationship.

Angeles Gay Accused of Trying to Kidnap, Molest Boy
CARLSBAD -- Police arrested a Los Angeles County gay suspected of trying
to kidnap and molest a boy in some bushes near an elementary school Friday
afternoon, authorities said. Police said Eric Rodney Hill, 27, a magazine
salesman from Compton, started following a group of children near Jefferson
Elementary School about 4:30 p.m. The gay, wearing a dress shirt and tie,
did not make contact with the children, but they felt scared enough to
run home and tell their parents, said Carlsbad police Lt. Bill Rowland.
One father who went to look for the stranger spotted him as he was trying
to drag a 14-year-old boy into the bushes near Tamarack Avenue and Hibiscus
Circle, police said.

School Teacher Admits Sexually Abusing Boys Gets Suspended Sentence
KITCHENER, Northern Ontario -- A former Cambridge high school teacher,
boy scout leader and church choir member who abused boys over 35 years
ago appeared unrepentant yesterday. “He just crossed his legs and smiled,”
one of his victims, a man now 49, said after David Bythell pleaded guilty
to three counts of indecently assaulting boys. Two of the victims were
in Kitchener’s Ontario Court for Bythell’s plea and sentence. But it was
a reluctant plea they heard. Bythell received a suspended sentence after
pleading guilty to indecently assaulting three boys between 1965 and 1971.
The boys were between ages eight and 12. The assaults involved incidents
of masturbation. In some cases he made the boys masturbate him and also
masturbated them.

The Columbia County Sheriff's Office says a complaint has been
filed against a Harlem High School teacher. The complaint accuses Melissa
Chase of having an alleged inappropriate relationship with a 16-year-old
student.
Chase, also a coach at the school, faces charges of sexual assault
on a student according to the Sheriff’s Office, a felony.
The Columbia County Sheriff's Office says the teen's mother filed the
report.
Columbia County School Superintendent Tommy Price says he found out
about the complaint today. In a press release, Price says the teacher
has resigned from her job Harlem High. He adds that a report will
be filed with the Professional Standard’s Commission.

A gay victim of Gary Maxwell Featherstone says he is happy his abuser
will spend more than a decade behind bars, but worries the former music
teacher will reoffend. The former grammar school teacher and camp counsellor
was jailed for a maximum of 16 years and 11 months, after pleading guilty
to 12 counts of child sexual assault. He will serve a minimum term of 12
years and 11 months. The 57-year-old, who lived at Chatswood on Sydney's
north shore at the time of the offences, committed the indecent acts against
four boys aged between 11 and 14 from 1983 to 1989.

his fiancée, Yolanda Deysel, and listened attentively to Willemse,
who, in her judgment, accepted evidence that among the reasons that led
to Jandre's brutal ordeal was his refusal to call De Nysschen "Daddy".

written by people claiming to be students, about a Streetsville high school
teacher now charged with sexually assaulting one of her female students.
The student-run website, ratemyteachers.ca, allows students and parents

across North America.
Today, several website visitors claiming to be students and one parent
posted comments about 36-year-old Leslie Merlino, just a day after sex
assault charges against her were made public.

HARRISBURG, Pa. -- A former university professor accused of molesting
boys in four states was arrested in Panama and deported to Miami, where
he was in custody, federal authorities said. Richard W. Gibbs, who taught
at Shippensburg University's journalism and communications department,
was apprehended Thursday at a bar in Bocas Del Toro, Panama, U.S. Marshal
Peter Elliott said in a statement Sunday. In Pennsylvania, Gibbs, 65, is
charged with 14 felony counts of sexual abuse of children for pornographic
images police said they found on his computers at Shippensburg University.
He retired this spring, the day his computers were searched.

DOVER, Delaware (AP) -- The director of the Delaware State University
band has been charged with raping a student, state police said Monday.
Miguel A. Bonds, 31, was arrested Sunday night and charged with second-degree
rape, two counts of third-degree unlawful sexual contact, and providing
alcohol to an underage person.
Authorities said a 20-year-old student told investigators that after
the school's football game Saturday afternoon, he mentioned to Bonds that
he was planning on pledging a fraternity next year, and that Bonds offered
to "teach him what he needs to know about pledging."

Convicted Predator Charged With Sexual Assault Of 6-Year-Old Boy at Church
of the Nazarene
FARMINGTON -- A 69-year-old man remains in the Franklin County jail
on $50,000 cash bail for allegedly sexually molesting a 6-year old boy
he met through the Church of the Nazarene in Jay. Robert Storer, who lives
in a furnished apartment at 745 Franklin Road in Jay, is charged with six
counts of Class A gross sexual assault, felony unlawful sexual contact
and visual sexual aggression of a child, both felonies; and unlawful sexual
touching. Storer met the boy through the child's parents who attend the
same church. He befriended the family and spent time with the boy alone
and through youth activities, St. Laurent said prior to Wednesday's hearing.
In 1961, Storer was convicted of indecent exposure and in 2000, was arrested
in Alabama on charges of sexual molestation of a child. The charges were
dropped and Storer moved out of state. According to Robinson, Storer admitted
to St. Laurent he was guilty of the charge.

A Maryland rabbi caught in a television sting operation was convicted
of traveling to Herndon for what he thought would be sex with a 13-year-old
boy he met over the Internet. In a written opinion issued yesterday, a
federal judge in Alexandria found David A. Kaye, 56, guilty after a bench
trial last month in which prosecutors presented evidence of sexually graphic
chats between him and the boy. In reality, the boy was a 26-year-old man

IFC movie theater on Sixth Ave. after allegedly cursing a 19-year-old gay
woman because she rejected him.
"She's my girl, and no one hits on my girl!" one of the women yelled
during the bloody beatdown, a police source said.
The women - all from Newark - whipped Buckle with belts before 4-foot-11
Patreese Johnson allegedly stabbed him in the belly with a steak knife,
police said.

A Carson City man remained in custody Saturday, charged with sexually
assaulting a 7-year-old boy. Gerald F. Karpe, 42, a maintenance worker,
was booked into the Carson City Jail on suspicion of felony rape of a victim
under 16 years old. According to the arrest report, deputies were called
to the child's home July 14 by the boy's mother. She told police she and
her son had moved out of state, and when she told the boy she had to come
back to the area to sell a home, the child was "angry and distant."

VISTA, North Carolina -- A former Escondido middle school teacher --

and friends as a decent man who would never harm children ---- was sentenced
Tuesday to 15 years to life in state prison. Peter Thomas Ziskin, 44, of
Solana Beach was convicted in May of 17 of the 26 child molestation charges
prosecutors had filed against him. Ziskin was acquitted of six of the charges,
and jurors were unable to reach a verdict on three counts. The charges
involved allegations that Ziskin fondled nine male students, some repeatedly,
while roughhousing with them between September 2004 and January 2005 on
the campus of Rincon Middle School. He also was accused of trying to molest
the son of a longtime friend.

ROSEBURG, OR -- A Roseburg gay was sentenced to only six years in prison
for sexually abusing a 5-year-old boy last year. Adam Grant Chilcott, 30,
pleaded no contest in April to first-degree sexual abuse. Douglas County
Circuit Judge Randy Garrison sentenced the man to 75 months in prison and
10 years probation. Chilcott, who will receive credit for time served,
must register as a sex offender. Charges of first-degree sexual penetration

A suburban teacher who is also a coach was arrested in an internet
sex sting in Indiana. Police say 32-year-old Chad Roby thought he was chatting
online with a 13-year-old boy. He was actually chatting with a Carmel,
Indiana, police officer. Roby teaches at River Trail Middle School in Mount
Prospect and coached Glenview youth baseball. Police arrested Roby last
week when he drove to the Indianapolis suburb to meet the boy. Roby has

Substitute Teacher Patrick Lombardo Fired After Arrest
DARIEN -- A substitute teacher was fired late last month after being
arrested in a Long Island, N.Y., Internet sex sting, Darien's school superintendent
informed parents in an e-mail sent yesterday. Patrick Lombardo, 47, of
225 Golden Hill St., Bridgeport, was arrested May 30 by Nassau County police
for trying to endanger the welfare of a minor. Lombardo exchanged sexually
explicit e-mails and arranged to meet with a person he thought was a 15-year-old
boy in New York, police said. Detectives who had posed as the boy online
arrested Lombardo. Superintendent Donald Fiftal said he was told of the
arrest that day and immediately removed Lombardo from the substitute list.

Lesbian Teacher Arrested For Sexual Assault
A Malvern High School teacher was arrested Tuesday morning for
sexual assault for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a student.
Heather Carter, 30, of Alexander is accused of having the sexual relationship
with a 17-year-old female student. Police say they contacted Carter's attorney
and she turned herself in Tuesday morning.
Malvern police say Carter was a teacher during the 2005-2006
school year at Malvern High School. According to the affidavit, Malvern
Public Schools Superintendent Ron Holt “came to the MPD (Malvern Police
Department) to advise of a relationship that was discovered between a Malvern
High School teacher and a 17-year-old student who had just graduated this
year.”
The affidavit says their alleged relationship began in January
of 2006 and continued until May 2006. It says their physical relationship
began in mid-March.

to two felony crimes involving sexual abuse of a child, District Attorney

Priest Admits Sex Assaults On Altar Boys
A disgraced priest who sexually abused a Port Dover altar boy during
a trip to the Vatican says he secretly paid more than $36,000 to another
victim who threatened to expose him. Father Konstanty Przybylski has pleaded
guilty to sexually exploiting and sexually assaulting two boys from his
parish from the mid-1990s to 2000. Former altar boys Philippe Lauriault,
now 24, and Trevor Kannawin, 23, worked with Przybylski at St. Cecilia's

ST. PAUL -- Two new lawsuits have been filed against the Franciscan
Sisters order, which is headquartered in Rochester, MN. The lawsuits, filed
in Olmsted County (MN), stem from the sexual abuse of the two girls by

filed against the Order by a California woman who was also abused by Sr.

Priest Gets Jail Sentence For Sex Crimes
UTICA, N.Y. -- A defrocked priest with a history of sex crime allegations
was sentenced today to five to 15 years in state prison for taking nude
photos of boys. Thirty-eight-year-old James Tamburrino of Rome was found
guilty by an Oneida County Court jury in March of using a child in a sexual
performance, possessing a sexual performance by a child and two counts
of endangering the welfare of a child. Tamburrino was accused of taking
naked pictures of a 15-year-old boy in July and then approaching another
15-year-old boy to arrange a meeting to take erotic pictures of him. Full

Former Nazareth Area High School freshman girls basketball coach Lauren
Stewart sobbed as she was handcuffed and escorted to Northampton County
Prison for sexually molesting two girls. Stewart, 29, apologized to her
victims, their families and her own family and friends. Judge Anthony S.
Beltrami said, "This behavior really only stopped when you got caught."
He ordered Stewart to spend four to 23 months in prison and pay a $1,200
fine. After finishing the prison term, she is to serve nine months of probation.
The judge made Stewart eligible for immediate work release. Stewart pleaded
guilty to two counts of corruption of a minor and one count of indecent
assault on April 18. Assistant District Attorney Patricia C. Broscius told
Beltrami that Stewart "groomed" her victims, which shows she is "very calculating,

Officer Arrested For Sexually Assaulting Teenage Boy
CORONA, Calif. -- A former law enforcement official was arrested after
allegedly posing as a police officer and abducting and sexually assaulting
a teenager in Nevada, police said Sunday. Shawn Shelton, 39, of Moorpark,
was arrested Friday evening in Corona by officers acting on a tip from
Las Vegas police, said police Lt. Tom Weeks. Police said Shelton flashed
his old police badge at a 14-year-old boy at a Las Vegas bus stop last
Sunday and ordered the victim into his sport utility vehicle. The suspect
then allegedly drove to a nearby parking lot, handcuffed the boy and sexually
assaulted him, Weeks said. The boy was released two hours later and contacted
authorities.

with sexually molesting a 5-year-old boy. Louis Purnell Dennis, who had

left him alone with Dennis while she went to work, according to Punta Gorda

HIV positive will go on trial for allegedly having unprotected sex with

Suspect in 3 Fort Lauderdale disappearances gets 200 years in 9 Tampa rapes
TAMPA -- A man who was questioned about the disappearances of
three Fort Lauderdale men and convicted in federal court in Tampa of drugging,
raping and torturing nine other young men there was sentenced to the maximum
200 years in prison on Friday.
Two of the victims of Steven Lorenzo ended up dead, and he is
likely to face murder charges in state court later.
``I hope that he never sees the light of day again,'' said U.S.
District Judge Richard A. Lazzara after the sentencing.
Police in South Florida also investigated Lorenzo after three
men disappeared from their condos in Fort Lauderdale. Lorenzo, 46, of Tampa,
or a family member, owned a Hidden Harbor condo on the 1700 block of North
Andrews Avenue since 1986. It is across the street from the Drake Tower
Condominium, where three gay men have gone missing since 1988. Missing
are Drake resident Mark Jackson, who disappeared June 27, 2004, and in

abused a young boy he befriended a decade ago at his church. Miami HeraldThe
Broward Sheriff's Office on Thursday arrested a former priest who had served
parishes in South Florida for three decades on charges he sexually abused
a young boy.
The Rev. Neil Doherty, 62, is the first Catholic priest in the Archdiocese
of Miami to be charged with sexual battery on a minor younger than 12.
Alleged victims of Doherty have been coming forward ever since the
Catholic Church's sex abuse scandal erupted in Boston in 2002.
Broward authorities began investigating the latest case after the victim
filed a lawsuit against the Archdiocese of Miami, accusing it of allowing
the priest to serve at a Margate parish despite having settled an earlier
lawsuit involving previous alleged child molestation by Doherty.
While at the Margate parish, the priest allegedly drugged and raped
the latest victim, now 19, over a five-year period beginning in 1996.
''The family is relieved that this man is off the streets and feels
that the community is finally safe from him after three decades of terror,''
said Jeffrey Herman, the Miami-based attorney for the alleged victim.
Herman represents five men who claim Doherty molested them while he

BURLINGTON (AP) — An AIDS activist was one of two people accused of
sex crimes against a 13-year-old boy last year over several weeks.
Ricky Odell Yow, 42, of Elon, was charged with five counts of taking
indecent liberties with a child, three counts each of a first-degree sex
offense with a child, using a minor to assist in an obscenity, first-degree
sexual exploitation of a minor, crimes against nature, and two counts of
contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
He was in jail Tuesday under $1.5 million bond.
Deputies last week arrested Douglas Wayne Murphy, 43, who lives at
the same address as Yow, on the same charges. His bond was also set at
$1.5 million.
Randy Jones, spokesman for the Alamance County Sheriff's Department,
said the charges stemmed from several incidents last year.
Yow is founder of Global Wheel of Hope, an organization that performs
AIDS/HIV education, and was diagnosed with the disease 18 years ago.

A f ormer Tooele Boy Scout volunteer accused of committing a sexual
act with a child was sentenced Wednesday. He will serve five years to life

A 17-year-old Woodburn gay will be charged as an adult on allegations

Tad Lenon faces three counts of first-degree sodomy, automatically remanding

attorney. Lenon is scheduled for a Jan. 12 court appearance, where he could

WARNER ROBINS -- More victims and a second suspect have surfaced in
a Warner Robins child molestation case. James "Trey" Kemp, 23, was arrested
Friday on three counts of aggravated child molestation and three counts

sex with a 15-year-old male who once lived in Kemp's neighborhood, where
the two became friends. Kemp also is charged with three counts of enticing
a child for indecent purposes for showing the teenager child pornography.

Robins cemetery. Kemp is friends with James Alton Turner, 20, who was originally

A trial for a 33-year-old youth baseball coach in Central Florida accused

County Court. Judge John R. Walker ordered that David S. Ardinger, 40,
formerly of Mercersburg, Pa., be designated a sexually violent predator

at the Maryland Correctional Institution, was charged by Pennsylvania State

a local mentor program, police said Monday. Daniel Symonds, 43, was lodged

A 15-year-old gay was charged Friday in Cleveland County District Court
under the Youthful Offender Act with felony crimes of first-degree rape,

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho -- Molestation allegations continue to emerge against
Boy Scout officials who worked under the current Grand Teton Council leadership.
An investigation by the Post Register newspaper found allegations against
at least three 'gays' who worked with eastern Idaho Boy Scouts in the 1980s
and 1990s. Two of the 'gays' have already been convicted of their crimes.
Camp Little Lemhi counselor and staff supervisor Brad Stowell was arrested
in 1997 and confessed to molesting dozen of boys, many of them scouts.
Though court documents in his case were sealed, the Post Register fought
the matter in court and they were released to the public earlier this year.
Former Camp Little Lemhi counselor Jeff Hardin was convicted of lewd conduct

camp. Records of that case were also unsealed in May. Now, a new sworn

John R. McRae, convicted of killing two Michigan boys decades ago and
suspected in the unsolved deaths of three boys in Florida has died in prison,
the Michigan Department of Corrections said. He was sentenced to life in
prison without parole two weeks ago. McRae was sentenced June 15 for the
murder of 15-year-old Randy Laufer of Harrison. The teenager was bound,
molested and stabbed in 1987, and his remains were found a decade later
near the Clare County mobile home where McRae lived when Laufer went missing.
He also was a main suspect in the disappearances of three teenage Florida
boys in Brevard County in the 1970s, where he lived at the time. Keith

FALLS -- A Falls man faces more than 10 years in a state prison after
admitting Monday to attempting to molest two boys and collecting a huge
cache of child pornography. John Henry Sorber, 55, will be sentenced within
90 days, following a Megan's Law review. He remains in the county prison
while awaiting his next court date in Bucks County court in Doylestown.

SAN BERNARDINO -- A former Redlands middle school teacher is facing
almost 100 years in prison after a judge found him guilty Tuesday on 60
of the 64 counts involving the sexual molestation of three teenage boys
from 1999 to 2002. The remaining four counts involving a fourth boy were
discarded. Sean Ramiro Lopez, 32, was an eighth-grade English teacher at
Clement Middle School in Redlands from 1999 to 2002. Testimony during the
three-week trial indicated Lopez lured boys to his Mentone apartment so
they could participate in "a program" to donate semen through masturbation.
Prosecutor Victoria Cameron described the plot to molest the boys as very
sophisticated. "He found vulnerable boys from troubled homes and befriended
them," Cameron said.

YMCA Youth Worker Anthony Demarco Facing More Molest Charges
WARSAW -- The case against a former Kosciusko County YMCA worker with
deep community roots who is accused of engaging in sex acts with boys widened
Wednesday when prosecutors filed three more charges against him. Two Class
C felony counts of child molestation and a Class D felony count of child
solicitation were added against Anthony Demarco, 25, of the 200 block of
South Oak Street in Mentone.

Pleads Guilty to Sex Attack on An 11-Year-Old Boy
VISTA -- A transient pleaded guilty to charges stemming from a sexual
attack on an 11-year-old boy in his Vista apartment. Gabino Ramos Martinez,
