Coming to the United Methodist Church in 2004 AD

again debate homosexuality at 2004 conference.

Once again, The United Methodist Church's 2004 General Conference will
debate
whether to change its stand against homosexual
behavior. To debate whether sex perverts are Christians or not,
is an affront to our LORD God who has already
clearly spoken to the issue. If the Methodist need to debate
whether sexual perversion is sin, there is something seriously wrong with
them.
Romans 1:26 For this cause God gave them up
unto vile affections:
for even their women did change the natural
use into that which is
against nature:
:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the
natural use of the
woman, burned in their lust one toward another;
men with men
working that which is unseemly, and receiving
in themselves that
recompence of their error which was meet.
THE DETAILS:
The denomination's "Board of Church
and Society" wants to eliminate the church's statement reading,
`"we do not condone the practice of
homosexuality and consider this practice incompatible with Christian
teaching.''
Instead they seek to avoid
confronting sin, and twist the Word of God with this alternative statement.
`"Although faithful Christians disagree on
the compatibility of homosexual practice with Christian teaching, we affirm
that God's grace is available to all.''
Yes, God's grace IS available to all, but repentance must come first.
Luke 13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
Any real Christian would know what God has to say about homosexual behavior.
Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with
mankind, as he lieth with a
woman, both of them have committed an abomination:
they shall
surely be put to death; their blood shall
be upon them.
The Methodist will also be proposing new actions on bisexual and transgender rights.
Considering the Methodist's
stand on abortion. it is obvious that they are pretty well apostate already.
To debate whether sex perverts can be ministers or not is an affront to
our LORD God.
The United Methodist Church
has 8.3 million members and is America's second largest Protestant body.
